Three-piece blues-rock unit, GA-20 have unveiled their latest single “Stranger Blues,” which gives the band an opportunity to demonstrate the slide guitar prowess of lead singer Cody Nilsen.

 

 

”Stranger Blues” is the third single from GA-20’s new EP set to be released this year, and follows the release of “Cryin’ & Pleadin’” in late 2024 and “I Love You, I Need You” earlier this year.

 

 

 

In characteristic GA-20 fashion, “Stranger Blues” serves as a fitting tribute to the originators of the blues while retaining a sound distinctive to the vision of the band. The driving urgency of the tune marks the latest development in GA-20’s trademark sound.

 

The release of “Stranger Blues” precedes the release for GA-20’s forthcoming EP project: GA-20 EP Volume 2, which will officially become available to listeners on April 29, 2025,

 

GA-20 was first formed in Boston, Massachusetts, is made up of guitarist Matt Stubbs, vocalist/guitarist Cody Nilsen, and drummer Joshua Kiggens. Additional information on the band, including details on upcoming tour dates, can be found at the GA-20 website.
