Rock n’ roll trio, Canyon Lights released their latest single “Breathe Easy” on Tuesday ahead of the band’s debut studio album of the same name.
.
Formed in 2023 by Pat Faherty and Tim Carman, Canyon Lights offers listeners an effective blend of vintage-leaning rock n’ roll, blues, and Americana music.
In early 2024, Faherty and Carman convened in the Denver area with their friend and producer/engineer Dylan Brown to lay down tracks for what would ultimately become the band’s debut album.

Though the bass guitar recording for the album was handled by Faherty, the group determined that a third member would be necessary in order to cover the bass parts in a live performance capacity. This led to the band’s recruiting of Heather Gillis, a multi-instrumentalist who first played with the founding members in Nashville, TN.

From these sessions, Canyon Lights were able to record an original song, “Seventh Son,” which saw official release on December 5, 2024. Since that time, the group have been booked for a litany of live dates as an opening act for legendary rock outfit, George Thorogood & The Destroyers.

“Breathe Easy” is currently available to stream everywhere along with Canyon Lights’ previous single, “Let Me In.” The group’s debut album, Breathe Easy is expected to hit shelves this summer.
