Soul ensemble, The Freedom Affair has released a new single, “Don’t You Wanna Love Me.
The tune marks the second release from the Kansas City band delivered as part of the lead-up to the forthcoming self-titled full-length studio effort. The album will follow the group’s 2020 record, Freedom Is Love.
Preceded by lead single, “Get My Share,” “Don’t You Wanna Love Me” marries a powerful lead vocal from singer Paula Saunders with pulsating, electronic-tinged percussion, and warm horn lines and background vocal performances.
The freshly released tune is perfect for the upcoming spring and summer weather, according to singer Seyko Groves.
”When the sun is out and you’re ready to flirt, put this on your playlist,” said the vocalist of “Don’t You Wanna Love Me.”
Officially made available to listeners for purchase and streaming on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, “Don’t You Wanna Love Me” is now available to check out on all major platforms. The Freedom Affair’s upcoming eponymous studio album is scheduled to see release everywhere on May 9, 2025 through the Colemine Records imprint and is currently available for pre-order.
