Blues-rock three-piece Canyon Lights have released the accompanying video to the band’s new single “Breathe Easy,” which was recently featured as part of Digital Wax’s FRESH WAX RECAP new music showcase.

The blues-based trio, who have kept busy touring as part of a run of shows for legendary rock n’ roll act George Thorogood and Destroyers, found time between shows to spend some time in front of the camera for the track.

“We filmed and recorded this live performance of our original song ‘Breathe Easy’ at Third Street Music in Hamilton, OH on an off day during our recent tour opening for George Thorogood and The Destroyers,” Canyon Lights drummer Tim Carman of the clip, making note of the contributions of new band addition, bassist Heather Gillis to the band’s ever-evolving sound.

“We’ve been closing our sets with this song and found that it has a fire to it live that we wanted to capture,” he continues. “Also, the addition of Heather Gillis, who did not play on the studio record, on back-up vocals and P-bass adds some real grease to the performance.”

“Breathe Easy” is now available to check out on all streaming platforms, and the newly released live video performance clip for the tune can be found on YouTube.
