With leads, raw energy, and plenty of classic blues swagger to spare, three-piece blues rockers GA-20 have made a statement with the release of the band’s new EP, Volume 2.

 

Powered by singles like “Cryin’ & Pleadin’,” “I Love You, I Need You,” and “Stranger Blues,” Volume 2 arrives as the culmination of an ongoing introduction of fans to new GA-20 lead singer, Cody Nilsen – who also brings a wealth of experience on slide guitar to the proceedings.

 

The band have honed their tried-and-true approach to revamping the traditional classic blues aesthetic with a fresh spin, maintaining the characteristics that made the sound so highly infectious when it was first introduced all those decades ago. Cuts originally popularized by some of the most quintessential artists in the canon are handled with care and treated with the utmost respect in the group’s sonically arresting interpretations.

 

GA-20 are currently touring in support of the new record, making their way across the east coast of the United States at the present time as the band prepares to bring good old fashioned American blues to international waters this summer.
