Hailing from East Texas, singer-songwriter Travis Bolt is delivering a cocktail of raw country, rock and roll, and soul with the release of his debut album, Burning Bridges.

Produced by Jason Burt, Burning Bridges brings together tales of perseverance, heartache, and ultimately, redemption, across 14 tracks. Fans have even gotten a music video from the rising artist for the album cut, “Wasting My Time.”

Speaking of the track itself, Bolt says he took inspiration from those who ultimately showed themselves to be less than fully committed to his musical and artistic vision.

“‘Wasting My Time’ is about the hard miles I had to walk in this business to learn the difference between the ones who’d bleed for the song and the ones just playing an angle,” Bolt explained. “And how long it took me to see they weren’t backing my music – they were just wasting my time.”

The songwriter came up on influences such as Wade Bowen and Randy Rogers. He would eventually take those influences, as well as others, and use them to shape his own distinct sound built on personal experience, hardship, and commitment to the craft.

Burning Bridges is available now for streaming, download, and purchase via the Gravel Road imprint.
